The article analyzes the attitudes of lyceum pupils towards physical culture and healthy way of life. Physical examination data indicate 4-5fold health aggravations among pupils over the period of tuition. The existing system of physical education does not provide the due level of health and does not allow to fulfill the enormous cultural potential of this activity.
